Print your ETA and show it at immigration, where your e-Visa is stamped in your passport.
The visa lasts one year from the date it’s granted. You can stay up to 180 days in total in each calendar year.
An e-Visa can’t be extended or switched to another type of visa once you’re in India, so choose the right one before you travel.
You must enter India through one of the airports or seaports approved for e-Visas. All the main international airports are included, such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Goa and Kochi. You can leave from any immigration checkpoint.
People of Pakistani origin, anyone with a military, police or security background (serving or retired), and holders of diplomatic or official passports must apply for a regular visa instead.
Before you fly, complete India’s free e-Arrival card online within 72 hours of arrival. It’s arrival information, not a visa. How the e-Arrival card works
An e-Visa isn’t valid for protected, restricted or cantonment areas. Visiting places such as parts of the North East, Sikkim or the Andaman Islands may need a separate permit.
Pakistani origin, a military or police background, work, journalism or a longer stay all need a regular visa. We help with those too.
Two fees, shown separately, so you always know where your money goes.

The government fee is set by India and depends on your nationality. It isn’t refundable, even if the visa is refused. Our fee is per person and includes checking your documents, fixing your photo and scans, and submitting your application.
No “express” fees. The Indian government doesn’t sell faster e-Visas, so we don’t either. Our job is getting your application right first time.
Your visa is valid for 365 days from the day it’s granted, not from the day you arrive. During that year you can enter and leave India as many times as you need, as long as your total stay in a calendar year doesn’t go over 180 days.
Because the 1-year e-Tourist visa starts on the day it’s granted, don’t apply too early: apply when your first trip is less than 120 days away.
If you’re likely to keep visiting India for several years, the 5-year e-Tourist visa saves you applying again each year. Your passport should be valid for long enough to make the most of it.
A passport valid for at least six months with two blank pages, and a recent photo with a plain light background. That’s all the 1-year e-Tourist visa needs. We check your photo meets the rules and fix it if needed.
On the date the visa is granted, not the day you arrive.
As many times as you like while it’s valid, staying up to 180 days in each calendar year.
At least 4 days before you arrive in India, and no more than 120 days before. We recommend applying 2 to 3 weeks ahead in case anything needs correcting.
No. The Government of India’s e-Visa fee pays for processing your application, so it isn’t refunded if the visa is refused or you cancel your trip. That’s why we check everything before you pay it.
Yes. You can apply on the official website, indianvisaonline.gov.in, and pay only the government fee. People use us when they want a person to check their eligibility, fix their photo and documents, and handle the form for them so nothing goes wrong.
