If you renew your passport, you can still travel on your valid e-Visa as long as you carry your old passport too. If your old passport has been lost or stolen, we can transfer your e-Visa to your new passport.
Your 5-year e-Tourist visa stays valid on the old passport until its expiry date.
If you visit India at least twice in five years, it usually costs less than applying each time, and you avoid the stress of applying before every trip.
