What is the India e-Arrival card?
It’s the online version of the landing card you used to fill in on the plane. It collects your arrival details for India’s immigration authorities. It doesn’t replace a visa.
When and where to fill it in
Complete it within 72 hours before you arrive, on the Bureau of Immigration website (boi.gov.in), on indianvisaonline.gov.in, or in the official “Indian Visa Su-Swagatam” mobile app. It’s free.
Watch out for fake e-Arrival card websites
Some websites charge fees for the e-Arrival card. The official service is free. You don’t need to pay anyone, including us, to fill it in.
Do I still need a visa?
Yes. You still need your e-Visa or regular visa. The e-Arrival card is extra information, not permission to enter.
What the India e-Arrival card asks for
Your passport details, your flight or travel details, your address in India and your contact details. Have your passport and visa to hand. Fill in a separate India e-Arrival card for each traveller, including children.
