Still have your old passport?

You can usually travel on your new passport with a valid e-Visa issued on the old one, as long as you carry both passports.

Lost or stolen passport

If you no longer have the old passport, transfer the e-Visa to your new one before you travel.

Details must match

Your name, date of birth and nationality must be the same on both passports. If they’ve changed, call us first.

The government fee is set by India and depends on your nationality. It isn’t refundable, even if the visa is refused. Our fee is per person and includes checking your documents, fixing your photo and scans, and submitting your application.

No “express” fees. The Indian government doesn’t sell faster e-Visas, so we don’t either. Our job is getting your application right first time.

How to transfer an Indian e-Visa to a new passport

India’s e-Visa portal now offers a service to move a valid e-Visa from an old passport to a new one. You give the old passport and e-Visa details and upload your new passport. With us, you upload your new passport and current e-Visa, and we check whether a transfer is needed before we submit it.

When should I move my Indian e-Visa to a new passport?

If your old passport was lost or stolen, or you no longer have it, transfer your Indian e-Visa to a new passport before you travel. If you still have the old passport, you can usually travel with both passports instead, which is simpler.
